Speaker Abbas Empowers Old CPC Stakeholders With Vehicles, Motorcycles In Kaduna

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, has distributed 30 vehicles to former Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) leaders and support groups across Kaduna State, alongside 850 motorcycles to teachers, Imams, polling unit heads, security personnel, and grassroots supporters.

The distribution comes just days after the financial empowerment of 2,400 constituents in Kaduna, an initiative Abbas described as part of a broader effort to strengthen mobility, service delivery, and grassroots political structures.

Speaking at the event, the Speaker said the intervention was a recognition of the loyalty and sacrifices of members of the Old CPC bloc, noting that their discipline and commitment played a key role in laying the foundation of the ruling party.

He also emphasized that the support is aligned with ensuring political continuity, referencing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, CON. According to Abbas, a monthly support package of ₦15 million will be sustained from February until the conclusion of the ongoing political cycle.

In addition to the empowerment programmes, the Speaker announced the commissioning of sports centres across Zaria Federal Constituency, aimed at promoting youth development and strengthening community cohesion.

Abbas said the interventions are in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the federal government, translating national policies into tangible benefits at the grassroots level.

He added that continued collaboration between the federal and state governments would further enhance empowerment, security, and economic opportunities for residents of Kaduna State.
