 UK leader Starmer battles to keep job as Mandelson-Epstein revelations trigger crisis    British Prime Minister Keir Starmer was fighting for political survival on Monday as his authority within the Labour Party sharply eroded less than two years into his term. Under mounting pressure from party lawmakers, Starmer was scrambling to head off a potential revolt that could cost him the leadership after a damaging scandal involving his appointment of Peter Mandelson as Britain’s ambassador to Washington. The crisis deepened over the weekend when Starmer lost his chief of staff, and it intensified further on Monday with the resignation of his director of communications, Tim Allan, who said he was stepping aside to allow a new team to be formed.  TARABA WOMAN GOES MISSING IN TAKUM 


Concern is mounting in Peva community, Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State, following the reported disappearance of a woman, Mrs. Judith Terkimbi Sugh.


Her husband, Mr. Ikyaghgba Terzulum Moses, said Mrs. Judith left their home on Monday and has not returned, with no information about her whereabouts.


According to him, she reportedly left behind her mobile phone, making it difficult to establish contact or track her movements. He added that efforts to locate her have so far been unsuccessful, despite reaching out to her parents and other family members.

Mrs. Judith is originally from Gbem, Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State.


Mr. Moses has appealed to members of the public to assist with any information that could help in locating his wife. Anyone with useful information is urged to contact him on 07078944823.


He also appealed to the public to help share the information.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
