 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem.  TARABA WOMAN GOES MISSING IN TAKUM 


Concern is mounting in Peva community, Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State, following the reported disappearance of a woman, Mrs. Judith Terkimbi Sugh.


Her husband, Mr. Ikyaghgba Terzulum Moses, said Mrs. Judith left their home on Monday and has not returned, with no information about her whereabouts.


According to him, she reportedly left behind her mobile phone, making it difficult to establish contact or track her movements. He added that efforts to locate her have so far been unsuccessful, despite reaching out to her parents and other family members.

Mrs. Judith is originally from Gbem, Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State.


Mr. Moses has appealed to members of the public to assist with any information that could help in locating his wife. Anyone with useful information is urged to contact him on 07078944823.


He also appealed to the public to help share the information.
