 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school.  The South East lost a lot of money because of the lockdown we experienced, crippling our economy is not the best way to get Biafra- Major of Afrika( member Igbo Integration Movement)

The pioneer of African Epistemology, and member of the Igbo Integration Movement, Known as Majorofafrika on social media has strongly criticized the Lockdown(sit at home) pattern embraced by ndi igbo.


He noted this while reacting to a question about IPOB on Gbam special edition, he stated that the lock down instituted by IPOB affected the economy of the South East so much that so many businesses were crippled including his own and caused the ndi Igbo to lose millions of Naira. 

 

He argued that while so many might be sympathizing with the activities of IPOB, that crippling the economy cannot get ndi Igbo Biafra, that getting Biafra can only come when there is a referendum organized by the federal government in Abuja.


He further asked ndi igbo to seek more of inclusive government rather than seeking for a separate nation.
