This heartbreaking story is the result of one man's caullous neglect of three vulnerable men under his care. 25-year-old Colton Moser, 22-year-old Mosa'ati Moa, and 39-year-old Tim Jones all perished on Friday, February 6th, because one man wanted to go home, eat a sandwich and watch T.V.
First responders were called to a home in West Valley City, Utah, at approximately 1:30 pm on Friday. Once on scene, medics were directed to a vehicle inside of the home's garage. Inside of that vehicle, first responders found three deceased disabled men, beyond help.
The homeowner, 25-year-old Isaiah Pulu, had placed the 911 call after finding the men unresponsive. However, it was sadly too little too late as all 3 men were pronounced deceased on scene. Isaiah works for a transport company responsible for driving disabled individuals to assisted living facilities.
According to Isaiah, he had picked up the three men that morning and was supposed to take them to their group homes. Isaiah claimed that during the ride, one of the men became disruptive. Due to this, Isaiah made the decision to stop by his home and make a sandwich and watch TV for a while.
He said that he left the three men in the running vehicle inside of his garage. Isaiah contends that he left them with the garage door up and a window cracked. Isaiah said it was around 10 a.m. when he left them there. When he went back to them at 1:30 p.m. he said he found the garage door closed and all three men unresponsive.
Isaiah Pulu was arrested and booked into Salt Lake County Jail . He is being charged with 3 counts of manslaughter and aggravated @buse of a vulnerable adult.
