TRAGEDY IN ABUJA AS KOGI-BORN SPA WORKER ALLEGEDLY SLAIN BY EMPLOYER

Zubaidat Isah, an Ebira woman from Kogi State, was allegedly killed by her boss at Spa Republic, a beauty and wellness center in Utako, Abuja. The owner, Grace Okosun, is now facing serious murder allegations.

According to reports, Zubaidat received a call on February 13 instructing her to visit House 3 Hotel in Gwarinpa to attend to a client, despite it being her day off. She went along with a colleague whose name is withheld for safety reasons.

Hours passed with no sign of the client, and confusion soon turned to horror. The employer, who had earlier claimed she was out of Abuja, allegedly arrived at the hotel carrying a knife and a bottle of Sniper, a deadly pesticide.

The colleague who escaped recounted:

"I was in House 3 Hotel, Gwarinpa, with Zubaidat waiting for the client when we saw our madam coming with a knife and Sniper. I was shocked because she said she was not in Abuja. She started stabbing Zubaidat, and that was how I managed to escape."

The police have reportedly launched an investigation into the shocking incident.
