 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.  UNIZIK declares state of emergency on infrastructure at Nnewi College of Health Sciences


In a bold move towards translating vision into action, the Governing Council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has declared a State of Emergency on infrastructural upgrade and facilities at the University College of Health Sciences located at Okofia, Nnewi, Anambra State.


Rising from a two-day Council Meeting and facility tour of the College in Nnewi, and Neni, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Barr. Olugbenga Kukoyi gave the immediate approval for the rapid infrastructural development of the College of Health Sciences.


Leading other members of the Council and the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bond Ugochukwu Anyaehie , to the 2nd Induction/ oath taking ceremony of the Department of Anatomy, the Pro-Chancellor, declared a State of Emergency on infrastructural development of the campus.


He informed the students that they are searching for more spaces to build Students hostels while the ones already completed would soon be occupied by the Students.lWhile on a tour of the College campuses located at Nnewi (Okofia and Akamili) and Neni, the council members inspected the extensive construction and facilities at these .

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
