 LAGOS CELEBRATES SOPHIA EKERUCHE: WORLD’S BEST YOUTH FEMALE SCRABBLE PLAYER The Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) hosted Wizkid Scrabble player Sophia Ekeruche of Team Lagos, the 15-year-old crowned the world's best female Scrabble player at the just-concluded World Youth Scrabble Championship held in Kenya this past August. Hon. Lekan Fatodu, Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, received the young champion in his office at Teslim Balogun Stadium. Beyond the financial support, Osimhen spent time with the young talents, motivating them and sharing valuable lessons on discipline, hard work, and consistency. He encouraged the players to stay focused and committed as they chased their dreams of building successful professional football careers.
