 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  Whoopi Goldberg recently addressed an old clip from The View during a February 18, 2026 episode, after it resurfaced in Netflix's documentary Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model. 

The moment shows her reacting with laughter to a 2010 America's Next Top Model Cycle 14 runway challenge where contestant Alexandra Underwood was knocked down by a large swinging pendulum during a walk.


In her comments, Whoopi expressed regret for laughing at the mishap, noting it involved a real person and acknowledging the incident's impact. She described it as one of the funniest things she'd seen but added an apology to Alexandra Underwood while keeping her usual humorous tone.
