A 13-YEAR-OLD ALABAMA BOY SENT HIS FATHER TO JAIL WITH SOMETHING TO REMEMBER HIM BY AFTER CATCHING HIM STRANGLING HIS MOM.(PHOTO).

 A 13-year-old Alabama boy sent his father to jail with something to remember him by after catching him strangling his mom.


According to the Baldwin, Alabama County Sheriff's Office, on Monday March 10th, deputies were called to a home in Foley to the report of a possible DV situation. 


Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Daniel Hernandez-Lopez, suffering from significant facial injuries. 


Hernadez-Lopez's 13-year-old son was also on scene. The young boy's account of the evening would lead to the arrest of Daniel Hernandez-Lopez. 


According to the boy, Hernadez-Lopez had become heavily intoxicated over the course of the day. As evening rolled around the boy said his parents had begun to argue. 


The verbal argument continued to escalate eventually leading to the mother suffering physical abuse at the hands of Hernandez-Lopez.


 Authorities report that Hernandez-Lopez began to strangle his wife. 


This is when the 13-year-old boy had enough and confronted his father. According to reports, Hernandez-Lopez lunged at his son and attempted to hit him with a bicycle.


This is when something inside of the 13-year-old boy snapped. Deputies reported the boy began to strike Hernandez-Lopez in the face repeatedly. Authorities believe the child hit his father until his father went unconscious, before stopping. Deputies were able to take Daniel Hernandez-Lopez into custody without incident.


Daniel Hernandez-Lopez is facing charges of DV and strangulation. He was booked into Baldwin County Jail. It was also determined he is not a U.S. citizen.
