  EFCC, NBA Human Rights Committee Seek Stronger Collaboration on Rule of Law, Justice The EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Directorate, and the Human Rights Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Ilorin Branch, have expressed readiness to strengthen collaboration towards promoting the rule of law, protecting fundamental human rights and ensuring effective administration of justice. The commitment was made on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, when the Chairperson of the NBA Human Rights Committee, Hajia Rasheedat Hassan-Aribito, led members of the Committee on a courtesy visit to the Zonal Director of the EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Directorate, ACE 1 Victoria Ugo-Ali. AN ARMED AND DANGEROUS SUSPECT IS CURRENTLY BEING SOUGHT IN ILLINOIS. (PHOTO).

 An armed and dangerous suspect is currently being sought in Illinois. 


A 16-year-old Illinois girl was fatally shot in her home over the weekend.


Authorities in Cook County, Illinois, are searching for a person of interest they described as armed and dangerous, after the Saturday morning homicide of 16-year-old, Lily Bova.


Lily had her life taken away from her in the upscale apartment where she lived in unincorporated Glenview, Illinois.  The incident occurred around 11 a.m. and Lily passed away a short time later at Advocate General Lutheran Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.


Authorities are being tight-lipped on the circumstances leading up to the shooting. They haven't provided a picture or name for the suspect. 


Lily was a sophomore at Glen Brook South High School. 


The school has provided grief counselors for students as they cope with the loss of their peer.
