 Governor Alex Otti Highlights How Kidnappers, Bandits Were Dislodged from Abia Communities in Abia Third Anniversary Speech Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has disclosed that his administration inherited a security crisis in which kidnappers, armed robbers, and other criminal gangs held several communities hostage before being dislodged through sustained operations. Speaking during his third anniversary celebration at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Friday, Governor Otti revealed that bandits had established camps inside forests across the state, from where they launched attacks on innocent residents, causing panic and displacement. “Security was a major challenge in the state three years ago. ANTHONY JOSHUA, HAS MADE THE SHOCK DECISION TO QUIT THE UNITED KINGDOM TO MOVE TO DUBAI. (PHOTO).

British-Nigerian boxer,  Anthony Joshua, has made the shock decision to quit the United Kingdom to move to Dubai. 

 

The 36-year-old athlete has confirmed he will become a resident of the United Arab Emirates city despite the ongoing conflict between the United States of America and Iran. Dubai has been one of the areas subjected to Iranian strikes in retaliation for America’s initial attack.

 

The former heavyweight world champion, who was born in Watford of Nigerian heritage, represented Great Britain and won gold at the 2012 London Olympics, but he is now leaving his home nation, according to the Daily Mail.


The surprise move by Joshua is revealed in the paperwork he filed on Friday for his £150m business empire, in which he is required to state which country he lives in.

 

The documentation shows that Joshua even pressed ahead with his decision to switch residential status amid the war attack between the USA, Israel and Iran.

 

UAE have been targeted by Iran with missiles and drones over the last 10 days to two weeks, which has seen more than 100,000 Britons attempt to flee the Middle East nation and move back home to the UK.
