 A 13-year-old Florida boy lost his life inside of a tube slide at a playground, leaving behind a shocked and grief-stricken family. The heartbreaking discovery was made when a father took his two children to Shenandoah Park in Miami on September 25th to work out some energy.  What they discovered when trying to use the tube slide may keep these young children from ever playing in an enclosed slide again. 13-year-old Olvin Ballladares was inside of the slide ...and unresponsive.  According to reports, Olvin had gone to the park that morning instead of school. While at the park, Olvin had attempted to slide down the tube slide. While traveling down the slide, Olvin's shirt became caught on a screw and pulled tight around his neck, cutting off his supply to oxygen.  From the way that he was discovered, it appears Olvin had realized what was happening and tried to free himself but was unable.  BENIN TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS PELLER OVER 'DISRESPECTFUL CONDUCT' AS STAFF, QUEEN REPORTEDLY AFFECTED

The Benin Traditional Council has issued a strong condemnation of an individual identified as Peller over what it described as “blatant disrespect” on palace grounds, an incident that has reportedly led to the dismissal of several palace staff, including one of the Queens.


In a statement released by the Council, the revered institution expressed deep concern over actions considered inappropriate and offensive within the sacred environment of the Benin Palace.

The Benin Traditional Council has warned that a queen in the palace of the Oba of Benin Palace may face removal over an incident involving social media influencer Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, popularly known as Peller.


In a statement signed by its Secretary, Frank Irabor, the council described the incident as a “serious breach of protocol and desecration of the sacred precincts of the Palace.” According to the council, Peller gained unauthorised access to the palace on March 6, 2026, during his nationwide tour, without the required approval.


The statement said: “Mr Adelaja and his entourage entered the palace without the requisite permission… and their subsequent conduct caused significant embarrassment and a breach of the peace within the palace grounds.”


The council emphasised the sacred nature of the palace, stating: “The palace is not a public thoroughfare or a location for frivolous content creation; it is the ancient and spiritual seat of the Oba of Benin.” Following a preliminary investigation, the council confirmed that disciplinary actions have already been taken against individuals involved.


A chief linked to the incident has been suspended indefinitely, while a palace staff member, identified as Mr Omuemu, has been detained by the Nigeria Police Force and charged in court for allegedly aiding the unauthorised entry.


The council also revealed that a queen who appeared in the incident is undergoing disciplinary proceedings that could lead to her removal from the palace. It stated: “In accordance with Benin traditions and customs, these proceedings may result in her removal from the palace.”


The council further confirmed that Peller has been invited to appear before a committee of chiefs to explain his actions but has not complied. “Mr Adelaja has failed to honour this invitation… He must tender an unreserved written apology to the palace for his unauthorised access and the embarrassment caused,” the statement added.
