 OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS TERRORIST INFILTRATION, DISRUPTS LOGISTICS NETWORKS, ARRESTS COLLABORATORS The Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) has recorded significant operational successes in its ongoing counterterrorism and counterinsurgency campaign across the North-East. Through a combination of offensive operations, intelligence-led actions, and collaboration with local security stakeholders, troops successfully foiled a terrorist infiltration attempt and disrupted terrorist logistics and support networks, further degrading the operational capabilities of insurgent groups in the Theatre.  Canadian tourist arrested for allegedly stealing and harming flamingo in Las Vegas 


 A Canadian tourist was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday after allegedly stealing and injuring a flamingo at a hotel on the Strip. Mitchell Fairbarn, 33, from Ontario, faces four counts of torturing, maiming, or killing an animal kept for companionship or pleasure.

Authorities say Fairbarn broke into the flamingo habitat at the Flamingo hotel around 5 a.m., where security footage shows him grabbing a bird named Peachy and injuring others in the process. Police found a hotel room containing a large bloody feather and other evidence of the incident. Fairbarn told police he “popped” the flamingo’s wing back into place, claiming he had experience with birds from growing up on a farm. He was taken to the Clark County Detention Center with bail set at $12,000. The injured animals are now recovering under veterinary care. The Flamingo hotel, operated by Caesars Entertainment, houses Chilean flamingos, various exotic waterfowl, sturgeon, koi, albino catfish, turtles, and local songbirds.
