Celine Dion set for Paris comeback with September concerts after health hiatus

Celine Dion is gearing up for her long-awaited return to the stage with a series of concerts at Paris La Défense Arena this September, marking her first live performances since her appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The French-Canadian singer, known for hits like "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," will reportedly perform two shows per week through September and October in Europe’s largest concert venue, which can hold around 40,000 people. Posters teasing her return have appeared throughout Paris, and Dion has shared nostalgic snapshots from past visits to the city, further fueling excitement among fans.

This comeback comes after Dion’s public hiatus due to her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome in late 2022, a rare neurological disorder that causes uncontrollable muscle spasms and extreme sensitivity to stimuli. The condition affected her ability to walk and sing, forcing her to cancel her previous tour. Dion has since undergone intensive therapy to regain strength and vocal control. Reflecting on her journey, she said returning to the stage has required effort “physically, mentally, emotionally, vocally,” but she is now ready to perform again, signaling a hopeful step forward in her recovery.
