 Anambra Upgrades 130 Primary Health Centres, Recruits 1,000 Health Workers ‎ ‎ ‎By Ezumezu Nonyelum ‎ ‎ ‎The Anambra State Government says it has upgraded 130 primary health centres across the state as part of efforts to improve access to quality healthcare. Each facility has been equipped with solar power, a reliable electricity supply and a 30 KVA generator to ensure uninterrupted medical services. ‎ ‎The government said the initiative aligns with its policy of providing at least one fully functional primary health centre in every political ward and one general hospital in each of the state's 21 local government areas. ‎ ‎As part of the healthcare expansion, the Soludo administration has constructed five new general hospitals: Okpoko General Hospital in Ogbaru, Solution Specialist Hospital in Fegge, Onitsha, Solution Rehabilitation Centre in Nibo, Ekwulobia General Hospital in Aguata, and Solution General Hospital in Anaku, Anyamelum. Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman, faces charges after incident at New Hampshire private school

Police in New Hampshire arrested Cher’s son, Elijah Allman, 49, on Friday after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a private boarding school where he has no formal connection.

Allman, whose father was the late musician Gregg Allman, was charged with two counts of simple assault, criminal trespass, and criminal threatening, along with a violation of the state’s disorderly conduct law, which is not classified as a crime. Authorities said the incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the dining hall of St. Paul’s School in Concord. He was released on bail following his arrest as the case proceeds through the courts.

Court records did not list an attorney for Allman, and representatives for Cher did not comment. St. Paul’s School also declined to provide a statement, and the police did not release a booking photo. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

St. Paul’s School is one of the few fully residential boarding schools in the U.S., with both students and faculty living on its 2,000-acre campus. The school, founded in 1856, has 538 students and 112 teachers from 37 states and 30 countries. Concord, located just over an hour north of Boston, serves as the capital of New Hampshire and sits within Merrimack County.
