 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. The Federal High Court Sitting In Abuja Has Granted Final Forfeiture Of Over 3 Billion Naira And Three Properties Linked To One Salihu Nuhu Jamari While Serving As The Managing Director Of, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Nnpc’S Gas And Power Investment Company Limited.

                         Justice Joyce Abdulmalik Gave The Order In Abuja Following A Motion On Notice Filed By The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, Efcc On March 17, 2026.

 

The Court Had On February 25, 2026, Granted An Interim Forfeiture Order, Directing That The Publication Of The Same Be Made In A National Newspaper For Any Interested Party To Show Cause Why The Said Exhibits Should Not Be Finally Forfeited To The Federal Government.


The Said Money Forms Part Of A Case Of Conspiracy, Kickbacks, Bribery And Money Laundering, Involving The Staff And Contractors Of The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Wherein The Name Of One Salihu Nuhu Jamari Featured Prominently Through A Petition Dated April 28, 2025.

Justice Abdulmalik, After Considering The Application, Held That It Had Merit And Ordered The Final Forfeiture Of The Assets To The Federal Government Of Nigeria.
