I Was Highly Relevant In Nigeria Before I Became Governor -Sule *** “The overwhelming pressure from parents, supporters, and people who have worked with me throughout the period is so overwhelming that it is a situation I can reconsider. Every time I have made a statement, I have kept it for the entire six and a half years I have been governor. Every time I said I was going to do something, I did it. “Before I became governor, I was highly relevant in this country. I was the managing director of African Petroleum. I got my name from the capital market for that. I am one of the governors who ran one of the most successful companies, at one time the most capitalized company in Nigeria – Dangote Sugar Refinery PLC. I made my name from there. I have done a lot of other things.” -Governor Sule On Channels Television’s Politics Today | March 23, 2026

DADDY FREEZE ISSUES A STRONG WARNING TO MARRIED NIGERIANS OVER THE AGE OF 40 WHO ARE CONSIDERING RELOCATING ABROAD. (PHOTO).

Foremost Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze has sparked an interesting debate by issuing a strong warning to married Nigerians over the age of 40 who are considering relocating abroad.

Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Daddy Freeze advised couples of that age to “avoid any type of abroad” for the time being, particularly countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

According to him, relocation should only be considered under two conditions: “one is, if the suffering in Nigeria is unbearable or the enjoyment promised abroad is much more than anything you can have here.” Outside of these reasons, he warned married couples to stay put.

He specifically cautioned, “Avoid America and avoid the UK for now. If you are married avoid relocating for now.”

Explaining his stance, Daddy Freeze pointed to immigration challenges, noting that couples may give birth to children abroad yet struggle with citizenship issues due to evolving immigration policies.

He also alleged that some couples resort to drastic measures to secure residency. “What couples now do is to divorce each other and get married to other partners for papers especially in the UK and US except one of them is a citizen,” he said.

Raising a critical question about the emotional toll of such arrangements, he asked, “How many marriages can survive a divorce and remarriage of the same couple?”
