Senate President Godswill Akpabio has appealed to the people of the South East to sustain peace and prevent their youth from engaging in armed struggle against the Federal Government. Akpabio made the plea on Saturday during the funeral of Sir Albert Ikechukwu Nnamani, former Administrative Secretary of the defunct Oil Mineral Producing Area Development Commission (OMPADEC), held in Ikem, Enugu State. In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, Akpabio emphasised that development can only thrive in a peaceful atmosphere and urged Ndigbo to properly mentor the younger generation. “For Ndigbo, I want to plead with you to continue to maintain the peace and watch the youth of today. They don’t understand politics. They don’t understand development. You can only have development in an area of peace,” Akpabio said. DENISE RICHARDS DISCUSSES HER FACE-LIFT JOURNEY AND SHARES BEFORE-AND-AFTER PHOTOS. (PHOTO).

Denise Richards discusses her face-lift journey and shares before-and-after photos

Denise Richards has once again chosen transparency, opening up about her recent cosmetic surgery and personal struggles.

In a candid interview with Allure, the actress revealed she underwent a facelift to “put things back up, where they were before.”

Though she admitted to being terrified, Richards explained that being in the public eye since her twenties made it impossible to hide such a transformation.

Her surgeon, Dr. Ben Talei, performed not only the facelift but also subtle enhancements, including a brow lift, lip corner adjustment, and fat transfer from her thighs to rejuvenate her complexion.

Richards described the results as “night and day,” acknowledging the dramatic yet natural improvement.

The timing of her surgery coincided with a difficult chapter in her personal life. Just ten days after the procedure, Richards began divorce proceedings with Aaron Phypers, her husband of six years.

She accused him of abuse, death threats, and possession of unregistered weapons, leading to a temporary restraining order being granted shortly after his filing.

Richards admitted recovery was challenging under the circumstances, but she remained diligent about caring for her incisions and noted that each day brought reduced swelling and a stronger sense of self.

Her allegations against Phypers have since been discussed on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where Richards returned as a guest star in season 15.

The show aired images of her with a black eye and resurfaced audio of Phypers threatening her, underscoring the seriousness of her claims.

Despite the turmoil, Richards continues to embrace openness, sharing both her vulnerabilities and her resilience with the public a pattern that has defined much of her career and personal narrative.
