 One thing I’ve noticed since I came to Nigeria… some of the people we call “rich” in Cameroon might actually be considered poor here in Nigeria. πŸ˜‚πŸ‡¨πŸ‡²πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ You will hear some Cameroonians say: Life in Cameroon is better because the gap between the rich and poor is not too much. An average man lives better than an average man in Nigeria  But I think the problem is that we sometimes measure wealth differently. πŸ˜‚ Those rich people in Cameroon are more like the average man in Nigeria  In Nigeria, you can see somebody with a house, two cars and serious money, yet the person will still say: Me? I’m just managing. πŸ˜­πŸ˜‚ Meanwhile, that same person might be considered very rich in Cameroon. I’ve actually met guys in Nigeria who consider themselves average or even poor, and I’m looking at them like: Oga, if you enter Cameroon with this your ‘poor’ lifestyle, they will give you a title! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Some people we call rich back home would probably be considered ordinary here.  FIRST LADY MEETS US SPECIAL ENVOY FOR BEST FUTURE GENERATIONS IN WASHINGTON


Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu says  promoting education,  using every necessary incentive,  is one of the pivotal programme of the Bola Tinubu administration. 


She shared this insight with the US Special Envoy for Best Future Generations, Charles Harder in Washington. 


President Bola Tinubu she notes, is working hard to build a formidable foundation that can be built upon, with quality education on the front burner.


While informing the Special Envoy that a nation-wide campaign to promote child nutrition, through her office is set to be launched in a few days, the First Lady also stated that books must be retained in schools despite technological advancement,  citing the need to broaden the knowledge base of students without disruptions or interference from the social media and related channels.


In his remarks, the Special Envoy explained that the meeting was convened to further discussions on the needs and situation of the Nigerian Child, noting that the Best Future Generations, a brain child of First Lady Melania Trump, seeks to address issues  affecting children the world over,  including food, nutrition, health and protection from all forms of abuse.


The meeting was held on the margins of the Fostering the Future Together Global Summit where over 45 First Ladies from various nations participated and discussed extensively the roles and effect of Artificial Intelligence among children and adolescents worldwide-wide.
