 Alabama student James Gracey, 20, found dead two days after vanishing in Barcelona James “Jimmy” Gracey, a 20-year-old University of Alabama student, was found dead in Barcelona after disappearing during a spring break trip.  Catalan police confirmed that divers recovered his body near Port Olympic on Thursday evening, and his family has been notified.  Authorities believe he drowned, though an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Gracey was last seen leaving the beachfront nightclub Shôko around 3 a.m. Tuesday with an unidentified person. Investigators pieced together his final movements using witness accounts and security footage. A passerby reported seeing him head toward a rocky breakwater near the beach, where police suspect he may have fallen into the water.  Search teams deployed boats, divers, drones, and helicopters, eventually locating his wallet floating offshore before discovering his body in shallow waters.  While Gracey...

Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu felicitates Islamic faithful across the country as they celebrate 2026 Eid-el-Fitri, marking the end of Ramadan Fast 1447 AH, a holy month dedicated to prayers, sacrifice, compassion and self discipline. 


In her message, she urges all Nigerians to remain steadfast in promoting peace, unity, and mutual respect across religious and ethnic divides, and  show compassion by extending a helping hand to those in need around them.


While praying that Almighty Allah accepts the fasts, acts of charity, and grants them grace to continue in the virtues cultivated throughout the holy month, the First Lady also prays that the 

blessings of Ramadan renew hope, strengthen unity, and deepenathe collective resolve of all Nigerians to work for a more peaceful and prosperous country.
