  Four rapes rock California college in the first three weeks of semester Four rapes have been reported at Cal State San Marcos since the start of September, with each incident involving people who knew one another, according to the university. The reports were made on four separate dates and involved three locations: The Quad on Sept. 5 and Sept. 18, University Village Apartments on Sept. 6 and Black Oak Hall on Sept. 13. Jerry McCormick, a spokesperson for Cal State San Marcos, confirmed the reports to the California Post and said the four incidents are not believed to be connected. In each case, McCormick said, the individuals involved knew one another. “Sexual assault is never acceptable and is never the survivor’s fault.  Gospel artiste and Iconic Nollywood soundtrack voice, Onos Brisibi, dies at 55


Gospel artiste and popular Nollywood soundtrack voice, Onos Brisibi, jhas died. She was 55.


Late Brisibi’s powerful vocals featured in classic Nollywood films such as Domitilla and Blood Money.


Her family confirmed her passing in a statement issued on Thursday, March 26. According to the statement, late Brisibi d!ed on March 23, 2026, after a prolonged illness.


Paying tribute, the family described her as a devoted Christian who impacted many lives through her music. They also remembered her as a joyful and warm-hearted individual, calling her “a beautiful and fun-loving woman with a heart of gold,” whose legacy will be fondly remembered


“The Brisibi family announces with deep sorrow the passing of Esteemed Sister Onos Nancy Brisibi, who transitioned to glory on 23rd March 2026 after a protracted illness,” the statement reads. 


“Onos Nancy Brisibi was a devoted Christian, a gifted songstress, and a passionate praise and worship leader whose angelic voice touched many lives as she spread the gospel through music.


“She will be remembered as a beautiful, fun-loving woman with a heart of gold, whose faith, warmth, and kindness left lasting impressions on all who knew her.”’’ the statement read


The singer is survived by her daughter Sarah Brisibi, her mother, siblings, extended family, friends, and her church family in LoveWorld Ministries.


May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
