Harrison Ford Says 'Of Course' He's Had Sex While Listening to His Own Movie Soundtracks

A lighthearted moment on late night television had audiences laughing when Hollywood legend Harrison Ford shared an unexpected confession during an interview.

The 83 year old actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 10, where host Jimmy Kimmel asked a playful question about Ford’s personal listening habits.

The conversation began after Kimmel played a scene from Ford’s Apple TV+ series Shrinking. In the clip, Ford’s character, a therapist living with Parkinson’s disease, quietly hums a tune linked to the famous Indiana Jones films.

Curious about the moment, Kimmel asked if the humming was something Ford had spontaneously added while filming. The veteran actor responded simply, saying he could not remember.

Kimmel tried again, wondering whether Ford recalled how his fellow cast members reacted to the unexpected musical reference. Ford offered a similar answer, again saying he did not recall.

That set the stage for a more playful question. Kimmel then asked if Ford had ever been intimate while listening to the soundtrack from one of his own films.

After a brief pause that stretched about 13 seconds, Ford delivered a calm response that sent the audience into laughter.

“Of course I have,” he said.

Kimmel quickly reacted with amusement, telling the audience it was a “dumb question,” while the studio crowd continued laughing at Ford’s deadpan delivery.

Ford did not expand on the remark or share details about which of his film scores might be part of his personal playlist.

Away from the studio lights, Ford has built a long and full life both professionally and personally. He met his wife, actress Calista Flockhart, in 2002. The couple later married in 2010.

Ford is also a father of five. He shares two sons, Benjamin and Willard, with his first wife Mary Marquardt. From his second marriage to Melissa Mathison, he has two more children, Malcolm and Georgia. Ford also adopted Liam, the son Flockhart had before their marriage.

The couple recently made a public appearance together at the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles on March 1. During the ceremony, Ford accepted a Life Achievement Award and spoke warmly about his wife.

He referred to Flockhart as his “extraordinarily beautiful wife” while thanking the people who have shaped both his life and his decades long career.

Speaking briefly with E! News on the red carpet, Ford also shared a glimpse into their relationship with a simple remark that reflected his relaxed approach to marriage.

“I don’t tell my wife what to do,” he said.
