Senator Sunday Karimi has raised concerns over the growing incidence of kidnapping and banditry in Kogi State, describing abductions as a daily occurrence in the state. Karimi made the remarks on Wednesday during plenary while contributing to a motion of urgent public importance sponsored by Senator Abdulfatai Buhari on the recent abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Ogbomoso. The lawmaker said kidnapping and banditry have become major security challenges threatening the stability of the country, stressing that responsibility for addressing the menace should not rest solely on the Federal Government.  I’ll Do the Hard Job - Kate Middleton Jokes With Prince William at Brewery Stop

A relaxed day along the River Thames turned into a lighthearted moment for Catherine, Princess of Wales and Prince William, Prince of Wales, who spent time visiting small businesses and chatting with locals around London on March 12.

The royal couple made several stops at markets and independent vendors, sampling local goods and even stepping behind the counter to lend a hand.

Coffee was poured, cheese and fruit crumbles were served, and plenty of smiles were exchanged with curious onlookers.

One particularly charming moment unfolded during a conversation about honey. As Kate discussed how different flowers influence the flavor of honey produced by bees, William could not resist teasing his wife in front of the crowd.

“Catherine’s got her own bees, she knows a lot about bees,” he joked. “Be careful what you say, you might be corrected.”

Kate’s interest in beekeeping is well known. She previously highlighted the hobby in a video shared for World Bee Day, explaining the important role bees play in supporting ecosystems. In the message, she described the insects as small creatures with an enormous responsibility, noting their work in pollinating plants and maintaining biodiversity.

Later in the day, the playful tone continued when the couple visited Southwark Brewing Company. Kate climbed a ladder to peer into one of the brewery’s towering kettles before being handed a large wooden paddle to stir the mixture inside.

Watching from below, William laughed at the situation. “We’ll talk from down here,” he called up to his wife.

Kate quickly responded with a grin. “Yes, don’t worry. I’ll do the hard job.”

Despite the lighthearted exchanges, one moment carried a more reflective tone. While helping pull pints at the brewery, Kate briefly spoke about how life has shifted since her health scare.

The princess was diagnosed with Cancer in January 2024 and later underwent chemotherapy. In January 2025, she shared that she was relieved to be in remission.

During Thursday’s outing, she acknowledged that the experience changed some of her habits. According to journalist Matt Wilkinson, Kate mentioned that she has been far more mindful about alcohol since her diagnosis.

“Since my diagnosis, I haven’t had much alcohol,” she reportedly said. “It’s something I have to be a lot more conscious of now.”

Still, the princess found room for one more gentle joke aimed at her husband. Turning to William, she added with a smile, “But you like cider.”

The exchange captured the spirit of the day, warm
