 Federal High Court Adjourned Leke Abejide’s Suit Against ADC, Ralph Nwosu, Mark, Aregbesola and INEC to Tomorrow for Judgment The Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Hon. Justice Liman, has adjourned the high-profile case with Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1637/2025 between Leke Abejide (Plaintiff) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ralph Nwosu, Mark, Aregbesola, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) (Defendants) to Tuesday, April 14, 2026, for judgment.

 Joke Silva Reveals Surprising Perk of Marrying an Older Man: “They Let You Get Away with a Lot”


Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva has opened up about one of the unexpected advantages of being married to an older partner, sharing candid insights during a recent appearance on TVC’s popular morning talk show, *Your View*.


The 64-year-old screen icon, who tied the knot with legendary actor Olu Jacobs in 1985, reflected on their enduring 40-year marriage and the 20-year age difference between them. Jacobs was 44 at the time of their wedding, while Silva was 24. The couple’s union has produced two children and remains one of the most admired partnerships in Nigerian entertainment.


Speaking about how their relationship began, Silva explained that they first crossed paths on stage before reconnecting on a movie set.


“Everybody knew it was the great Olu Jacobs who was coming, except me,” she recalled with a smile. “When he came, we got on very well and it was after we started dating that I discovered his age because he looked so good.”


While it was love at first sight for Jacobs, Silva admitted it wasn’t the same for her initially. However, she highlighted a key benefit she has experienced in the relationship:


“These older men allow you to get away with a lot of things,” she said, sparking laughter and nods from the hosts and audience.


Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs continue to be celebrated as a power couple whose long-lasting love story defies industry odds and serves as an inspiration to many.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
