"JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED," SAYS NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LIBRARY & INFORMATION SCIENCE STUDENTS OVER ALLEGED KILLING OF GRADUATE IN BENUE STATE

The alleged killing of Mrs. Clement Kwaghchimin, a 2023 graduate of Library and Information Science, has sparked outrage and renewed calls for justice in Benue State.

Mrs. Kwaghchimin was reportedly killed on March 10, 2026, by her husband’s younger brother following a misunderstanding earlier in the day. The incident was said to have occurred while she was asleep, leaving her children motherless and her family in grief.

Before her death, she was pursuing a Master’s degree at Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi.

Reacting to the incident, National Association of Library and Information Science Students condemned the act, describing it as “a crime against humanity.”

The association urged the Benue State Government and security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure the suspect is brought to justice. It stressed that “justice delayed is justice denied.”
