 Khloé Kardashian Opens Up on Possibly Giving True a Sister, Shares Emotional Reflections

Khloé Kardashian is reflecting on her family and what the future might hold, and it seems her thoughts on having another child are evolving. 

During a recent episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, the entrepreneur and mom of two opened up about a question that strikes at the heart of family and motherhood: would she ever consider having another baby?

Initially, Kardashian said she wouldn’t rule it out entirely, noting that she would want to be married and have children with her next husband. 

But she surprised her podcast team when she admitted she had considered using one of her remaining frozen embryos to give True, her 7-year-old daughter, a sister.

“I do have a few more embryos in the freezer,” she shared. “And I was like, I don’t think I have the energy for another baby, but I do think girls need sisters. It could just be how I was raised. I feel like Tatum is gonna be fine, but a girl needs her sister, and maybe that’s because of my own experience.”

She continued, expressing the internal tug-of-war she’s feeling. “I think I have one girl left, and I’ve been contemplating, like, do I just do this? Do it on my own? But I don’t know if emotionally I could handle it. It’s just been a thought. I don’t think it’s going to happen because I don’t have the energy.”

Kardashian also reflected on how she might approach another pregnancy differently, especially compared to the journey with her son Tatum, now 3. “I was thinking I would put the baby in a surrogate, and I think I would have a very different experience because I would be along for that surrogate journey, as opposed to all the trauma that surrounded Tatum’s surrogate experience,” she said.

She acknowledged the uncertainties involved. “When you put an embryo in, there’s no guarantee it will take. 

So I thought maybe I could try, and if it doesn’t work, then it means that God didn’t want me to have another baby, and that’s fine. But I don’t even think I have the emotional capacity.”

A voice from off-camera suggested she do it for True, and Kardashian confirmed that would truly be the only reason she’d expand her family. 

“That’s the only thing is why I want to do it,” she said. “And True knows she has a sister in the freezer. And she will tell people that. I’m like, we need context though. They’ll think I have a little girl in my freezer.”

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has spoken about the possibility of more children. Last April, she told PEOPLE that she feels “very full and complete” with her two kids and would only consider growing her family if she remarried. “I’ve learned to never say never. I don’t know. I think if I’m married and have a husband, then I would be open to it. But I’m not just having kids. I want a partner. I feel very satisfied where we are, very full and complete. But if I get married, and that’s something we talk about, then, sure.”
