 UNACCEPTABLE – GOV. ALIA BLASTS MBALOM KILLINGS, ASSURES JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS  Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has condemned the latest attack on Mbalom community in Gwer East Local Government Area, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable, while assuring residents of intensified efforts to protect lives and property. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the governor reacted to reports of an assault by suspected armed herdsmen on the community, an incident that adds to recurring security concerns in parts of the state. Alia said the attack represents a direct threat to the peace and security of Benue, noting a disturbing pattern of what he described as calculated and selective assaults.  Lady Gaga just gave an update on her and Michael Polansky’s wedding in the cutest way ever


Lady Gaga gave fans a small update on her wedding plans with fiancé Michael Polansky during a playful moment on Bruno Mars’ Romantic Radio TikTok Live show. 


The pop star revealed that after a year of traveling together, the couple is preparing to marry “soon,” possibly within the next few months. She asked Bruno to dedicate a special song for their big day, and he chose “Risk It All” from his latest album, dedicating it to both Gaga and Polansky. 


While she kept most details under wraps, Gaga has previously joked that her wedding could be anything from a courthouse ceremony with Chinese takeout to a whimsical celebration with unicorns.


The singer first shared the story of her engagement during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in October 2024. 


She explained that Polansky proposed after a rock climb, waiting until they were safely back at the bottom before pulling the ring from his backpack. 


Gaga described the moment as “super cute” and said she appreciated his thoughtful approach, even though he didn’t get down on one knee. For her, the proposal reflected their modern relationship and Polansky’s practical nature.


Since announcing their engagement, Gaga has kept wedding details private, but her recent comments suggest the nuptials are approaching quickly.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
