 Madonna, 68, is spotted partying with boyfriend Akeem Morris, 30, and daughter Lourdes Leon, 29, after VMAs. The VMAs turned into a family night out for Madonna as she celebrated her return to the show. The 68 year old singer was spotted leaving Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles after an after-party with her boyfriend Akeem Morris, 30, and her daughter Lourdes Leon, 29.  Photos showed her smiling in the back seat of an SUV while her boyfriend of two years was in the front seat, with her daughter leaving separately in another car with a friend.  Matawalle to Dauda Lawal: Politics is not war... I'll support your vision for Zamfara 


Bello Matawalle, minister of state for defence, has commended the defection of Dauda Lawal, governor of Zamfara state, from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).


Lawal, who succeeded Matawalle as governor of Zamfara, quit the PDP on Monday after the appeal court in Abuja affirmed the judgment of a federal high court which restrained the PDP from conducting the national convention held on November 15 and 16, 2025, in Ibadan.


In a statement on Tuesday by Sulaiman Idris, his spokesperson, the Zamfara governor announced his defection to the APC, citing lingering litigation and crisis within the PDP.
