 AAU Lecturer Dies in Edo Hotel After Alleged Encounter With 21-Year-Old Woman. A senior lecturer at Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Dr Matthew Uwuigbe, has d'ied in a hotel room in the Mosco area of Ekpoma following an alleged encounter with a 21-year-old woman. The incident reportedly occurred on October 5, 2026. According to the Edo State Police Command, Uwuigbe had lodged at the hotel with the woman and later sent her out to purchase water. The woman, upon returning to the room, reportedly found the lecturer lying de'ad and raised the alarm. The police said the hotel owner, manager and the woman have been arrested and are assisting with investigations into the circumstances surrounding the de'ath. Uwuigbe's remains have been deposited at the Oriaifo Memorial Hospital mortuary, while investigations continue.  Meghan Markle’s dad finds love with nurse 35 years younger


Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle’s estranged father, has found companionship again after meeting nurse Rio Canedo, 35 years his junior, while recovering from surgery in the Philippines. 


At 81, Markle says he is “overjoyed” with the relationship, describing Rio as a source of peace and happiness after years of health struggles and personal turmoil. 


Despite criticism, he insists he is focused on living fully, declaring, “haters will hate.”


Markle’s health challenges have been significant in recent years, including a leg amputation, a stroke, and multiple hospitalizations. 


His move to the Philippines earlier this year was partly to seek privacy and escape reminders of his fractured relationship with Meghan, who has been estranged from him since her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. 


While he has never met Harry or his grandchildren, Markle remains close to his other children, with his son Thomas Jr. now acting as his caregiver.


The father-daughter relationship once appeared strong, as Meghan lived with him during her teenage years and described him as hardworking and inspiring. 


However, their bond broke down after Markle staged paparazzi photos ahead of her wedding, an incident that led to mistrust and a heated phone call with Harry. 


Since then, Markle has maintained ties with his other family members while carving out a quieter life abroad, insisting that despite past mistakes, he has found happiness again in his new relationship.
