 Former U.S. President Joe Biden's son, Hunter says he’s ‘48 percent gay’ Hunter Biden, the 56-year-old son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, made lighthearted comments regarding his personal life and sexuality during an appearance on The Luke Beasley Show podcast. In the interview, host Luke Beasley questioned Biden about his orientation. Biden responded in a humorous vein, offering precise, lighthearted estimates of his sexuality. "Only a little bit," Biden remarked during the exchange, before jokingly quantifying the figure at "48.6 percent." During the 90-minute episode, Beasley presented Biden with an AI-generated image depicting the two in a physical embrace, prompting Biden to joke about his past years of substance abuse prior to his recovery in 2019.  NESREA Seals Bond Chemicals Industries Limited for Environmental Violations


The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) has sealed off Bond Chemicals Industries Limited in Oyo State following concerns over violations of the National Environmental Regulations. 


According to Nwamaka Ejiofor Assistant Director (Press)compliance inspection carried out by officials from the South West Zonal Office revealed that the facility had no functional Effluent Treatment Plant and was discharging untreated wastewater with offensive odour directly into the environment in contravention of applicable environmental standards and regulations .


After due notification, NESREA in exercise of its statutory mandate, consequently sealed the facility to prevent further environmental degradation and to safeguard public health.


The Director General of NESREA Prof. Innocent Barikor reiterates that all industry operators are required to comply fully with environmental regulations including the installation and proper operation of pollution control equipment, stating that the Agency will continue to intensify its monitoring and enforcement activities nationwide and will not hesitate to apply appropriate sanctions against any facility found to be in violation.
