 El-Rufai To Remain In ICPC Custody As Court Delays Bail Hearing Until June Former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai will remain in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) until at least June 2026 after his bail hearing was postponed. Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court adjourned the hearing to the first week of June.  El-Rufai is currently facing an amended nine-count charge involving alleged fraud and abuse of office brought against him by the ICPC. The former governor had earlier appeared in court to seek bail, but the judge deferred ruling on the application.  Meanwhile, in a separate case, he was granted bail by Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of the Federal High Court in Kaduna, set at ₦200 million.  Despite this, the court directed that he remain in ICPC custody until all bail conditions are met.  Paul Okoye denies reports claiming lady who accused him of rape and abusing minors has been sentenced to six years imprisonment


Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy has denied media reports claiming the young lady who in September 2025 took to her X handle to accuse him of being a rapist and abuser of a minor,has been sentenced to six years imprisonment.


On Thursday, March 5, social media was awash with reports that the young lady with the handle @chubbiediva has been sentenced after she was arraigned for falsely accusing the singer of rape.


In a post shared on his Instastories, Paul described the report as ‘’fake news’’


Recall that the trouble started on September 23 when the accused left a comment under a post celebrating Paul’s wife’ Ifeoma, as she turned a year older. An X-user then left a comment under the post, stating that Paul cheated on his former wife, Anita, with their maid. Reacting to the said comment, @chubbiediva alleged that Paul r@ped/coerced the maid. She further alleged that the singer sent his wife and sister in-law out of the house after he was caught.


Paul saw the comment and vowed to use everything within his power, to ensure the X-user faces the law.
