 Elon Musk faces civil securities fraud suit over Twitter purchase as he eyes SpaceX IPO  Since acquiring Twitter for roughly $44 billion in late 2022, Elon Musk has renamed the platform X, merged it with his artificial intelligence company xAI, and integrated both into his defense and space company, SpaceX. Musk’s next major move could be taking SpaceX public in what would likely be a record-setting IPO, but first, he is confronting legal challenges from his past. On Wednesday, Musk appeared in federal court in San Francisco to face allegations of civil securities fraud tied to his Twitter purchase. Investors filed a class action in October 2022, claiming Musk manipulated Twitter’s stock to pressure the board into selling at a lower price than initially promised. Musk’s legal team denies any intent to harm Twitter or its shareholders.  PRESIDENT TINUBU CELEBRATES FORMER PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO AT 89TH BIRTHDAY 


President Bola Tinubu celebrates  former president and elder statesman, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo who turns 89 March 5th, 2026.

Information & Strategy, President rejoices with Chief Obasanjo, whose towering influence in the country, Africa, and beyond is significant. 


It adds, President Tinubu notes the courage and sacrifices of the elder statesman, who previously served the nation as military Head of State from 1976 to 1979, handing over power to a civilian president in

1979, and later as the first civilian president in the fourth republic, 1999-2007. 


President Tinubu affirms the historic experiences of the former leader, including leading troops to preserve Nigeria’s unity at the warfront, serving time in prison for speaking out against tyranny, and consistently pursuing Africa's political and economic interests.


As Chief Obasanjo turns 89, the President acknowledges the zeal and wisdom he has brought into Nigeria’s development process through his books and regular interventions, revealing a depth of patriotism to nation-building. 


President Tinubu prays for more years of good health, strength, and wisdom for the former president as he continues to serve the nation and humanity. It concludes.
