 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  PRESIDENT TINUBU HOSTS FEC MEMBERS TO INTERFAITH BREAKING OF FAST 

                                    

Despite the popularity of the APC leading to mass defections of state governors to the ruling party, members of the federal executive council and heads of agencies of government have been implored to intensify education of the public about the good intention of the current administration’s policies and programmes.


Vice President Kashim who spoke on behalf of his principal, President Bola Tinubu, said this at an interfaith breaking of fast dinner for members of the Federal Executive Council and heads of federal agencies at the state house.


The Vice President who traced the journey of the administration from inception acknowledged that about three years of reforms have resulted in a more stabilized economy for the nation.


He appreciated president Tinubu for providing the needed leadership, which Nigeria needs at the moment and thanked members of the council as well as heads of agencies for their contributions to the success of the administration so far.


They prayed for continued strength and wisdom for the president as well as peace and development of Nigeria.
