 Set designer Mary Kate Golding found dead in Queens home as police investigate possible murder-suicide Police are investigating the deaths of television set designer Mary Kate Golding and her husband after the 34-year-old was found fatally stabbed inside her Queens home. According to the New York Police Department, officers responded shortly after midnight on Tuesday, July 21, to a residence in Astoria, where they found Golding with a fatal stab wound to her back. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Several hours later, at about 6:39 a.m., officers responded to a separate 911 call reporting an unconscious person near Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard. Police found an unresponsive man in the park, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An NYPD source identified the man as Joseph Azzaretto, Golding's husband.  Rachel Lindsay claims ex-husband Bryan Abasolo made 'low' comments about her fertility struggles amid their divorce


Rachel Lindsay recently addressed remarks made by her ex-husband Bryan Abasolo regarding her fertility struggles, calling them “low” and inaccurate. 


During an appearance on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Lindsay explained that Abasolo had spoken publicly about private matters she had never discussed herself, particularly around her desire to have children. 


She said she was shocked by his decision to share those details, especially given the timing, which came shortly after he was awarded temporary spousal support.


The former Bachelorette star described 2024 as a year filled with surprises and disappointments as the divorce unfolded. She recalled feeling blindsided by Abasolo’s actions and questioned who he had become during the process. 


Lindsay suggested that his behavior may have stemmed from long-held feelings she was unaware of, noting that his public comments and decisions left her repeatedly stunned.


The couple, who met on The Bachelorette in 2017 and married in 2019, finalized their divorce in 2025. As part of the settlement, Lindsay was ordered to pay Abasolo nearly half a million dollars, which she completed in January 2026. 


Speaking at a pre-Grammy event, she expressed relief at closing that chapter, likening the experience to “giving birth” or “letting go,” and emphasized that she now feels free and happy.
