 How Bauchi Accountant-General Transferred State Funds to Private Company - Witness   Trial of the Accountant-General of Bauchi State, Sirajo Muhammed Jaja continued on Monday, September 21, 2026 at the Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Obiora Egwuatu with a witness revealing how Jaja diverted state funds to a private company. Jaja is facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC ,  alongside Aliyu Abubakar, Abubakar Muhammed Hafiz, Ari Manga and Muhammed Aminu Bose, for alleged corruption. The defendants are being prosecuted by the EFCC on an amended five-count charge of money laundering, diversion of public funds, and criminal misappropriation of funds to the tune of N1,635,270,350.9 (One Billion, Six Hundred and Thirty-five Million, Two Hundred and Seventy Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty Naira, Nine Kobo).  Rachel Lindsay claims ex-husband Bryan Abasolo made 'low' comments about her fertility struggles amid their divorce


Rachel Lindsay recently addressed remarks made by her ex-husband Bryan Abasolo regarding her fertility struggles, calling them “low” and inaccurate. 


During an appearance on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Lindsay explained that Abasolo had spoken publicly about private matters she had never discussed herself, particularly around her desire to have children. 


She said she was shocked by his decision to share those details, especially given the timing, which came shortly after he was awarded temporary spousal support.


The former Bachelorette star described 2024 as a year filled with surprises and disappointments as the divorce unfolded. She recalled feeling blindsided by Abasolo’s actions and questioned who he had become during the process. 


Lindsay suggested that his behavior may have stemmed from long-held feelings she was unaware of, noting that his public comments and decisions left her repeatedly stunned.


The couple, who met on The Bachelorette in 2017 and married in 2019, finalized their divorce in 2025. As part of the settlement, Lindsay was ordered to pay Abasolo nearly half a million dollars, which she completed in January 2026. 


Speaking at a pre-Grammy event, she expressed relief at closing that chapter, likening the experience to “giving birth” or “letting go,” and emphasized that she now feels free and happy.
