 Federal High Court Adjourned Leke Abejide’s Suit Against ADC, Ralph Nwosu, Mark, Aregbesola and INEC to Tomorrow for Judgment The Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Hon. Justice Liman, has adjourned the high-profile case with Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1637/2025 between Leke Abejide (Plaintiff) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ralph Nwosu, Mark, Aregbesola, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) (Defendants) to Tuesday, April 14, 2026, for judgment.

 Robert De Niro bursts into tears over Trump dividing the U.S.: 'We have to save the country'


Robert De Niro recently delivered an impassioned message to Americans, urging unity and resilience in the face of political division. Speaking with Nicolle Wallace on the MS NOW podcast The Best People, the actor described former President Donald Trump as a destructive force, insisting that citizens must come together to protect the nation. 


He emphasized that differences among people are secondary compared to the larger challenge of safeguarding democracy, stressing that division cannot lead to victory.


Reflecting on his career and past moments of gratitude, De Niro grew emotional as he reiterated the importance of lifting people up rather than tearing them apart. He rejected the idea of humanizing Trump’s political era, instead framing the current situation as a matter of survival for the country. 


While acknowledging the bleakness of the moment, he also suggested that this crisis might serve as a turning point, compelling Americans to defend their values and preserve the nation’s future.


De Niro’s outspoken criticism of Trump is not new; he has long used his platform to champion progressive causes and challenge the former president’s policies. His remarks have often provoked sharp responses from Trump, who recently lashed out at De Niro and other critics on Truth Social. 


Despite the hostility, De Niro remains steadfast, portraying the struggle as a collective responsibility to ensure that the country endures and thrives beyond this turbulent period.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
