 Governor Alex Otti Highlights How Kidnappers, Bandits Were Dislodged from Abia Communities in Abia Third Anniversary Speech Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has disclosed that his administration inherited a security crisis in which kidnappers, armed robbers, and other criminal gangs held several communities hostage before being dislodged through sustained operations. Speaking during his third anniversary celebration at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Friday, Governor Otti revealed that bandits had established camps inside forests across the state, from where they launched attacks on innocent residents, causing panic and displacement. “Security was a major challenge in the state three years ago. Several communities were held hostage as kidnappers, armed robbers, and other criminal groups set up camps in the forests from where they launched sporadic attacks on innocent Abians,” Otti said. SDP HOLDS 2026 NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS).

 SDP Holds 2026 National Executive Committee Meeting in Abuja


The  Social Democratic Party, SDP, at its National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja for the year 2026, approved and ratified nine decisions of the party taken between March 2022 and March 2026, including the votes and proceedings of March 9 2026.

Approved and ratified are party members appointed to fill vacant positions in the  National Working Committee NWC and the National Executive Committee NEC. 


The NEC meeting also approved and ratified the proposed programmes scheduled for 2026/2027 Party primary Elections, Congresses, Convention and other related activities. 


The SDP NEC also approved and ratified zoning for the seat of the National Chairman and that of the Presidential Candidate of the Party.


The amendment of the 2022 Constitution of the SDP to reflect the zoning formula and other amendments.

 The SDP NEC also approved and ratified disciplinary measures comprising suspension and expulsion of persons from the party during the time under review, including the acceptance of the resignation of some officials of the party.


The NEC  meeting also directed the National Working Committee to appoint persons to fill positions or remove persons in the National or Zonal or State Executive Committees of the SDP.


The SDP NEC meeting also recognises the administration and operations of the party's organs for improvement and effectiveness at all levels, as circumstances warrant or as may become expedient.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
