  UFC fighter Allan Nascimento found dead at 34 after 'apparent heart attack' in his sleep UFC fighter Allan Nascimento has died at the age of 34 after suffering an 'apparent heart attack' in his sleep. The news comes just six weeks after the Brazilian's last fight in Las Vegas on June 20. He suffered a split decision loss to Mitch Raposo at UFC Vegas 119. A UFC statement read: 'This morning, Monday, August 3rd, our beloved flyweight fighter, Allan Nascimento, was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep. 'Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. 'Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan's family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.'  SENATE CONFIRMS OYEDELE AS MINISTER


Senate has confirmed the appointment of Mr Taiwo Oyedele as a Minister of the government of the federal republic of Nigeria, after being screened at the committee of the whole.


During the screening, Oyedele  answered questions with regards to growing the economy away from the current state of concentration of making it stable.


He said beyond increasing revenue, funding must be prioritized to achieve the desired impact in productivity and growth.


Being strategic in all situations he says is key to avoid economic pitfalls due to internal and global pressure.


Mr Oyedele before this appointment was the Chairman of the Presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms, which midwifed the four tax reform laws.
