 LAGOS CELEBRATES SOPHIA EKERUCHE: WORLD’S BEST YOUTH FEMALE SCRABBLE PLAYER The Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) hosted Wizkid Scrabble player Sophia Ekeruche of Team Lagos, the 15-year-old crowned the world's best female Scrabble player at the just-concluded World Youth Scrabble Championship held in Kenya this past August. Hon. Lekan Fatodu, Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, received the young champion in his office at Teslim Balogun Stadium.  SGF inaugurates Board of PenCom Board

                                   

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume has inaugrated the new board of the National Pension Commission.


During the short ceremony the SGF emphasized the important mandate given to the board, stressing that their role in pension administration must be transparent and worthy of the trust of Nigerians.

Akume while noting the importance that President Bola Tinubu places on the welfare of Nigerians especially after retirement said that pensions would be paid in a timely and dignified manner.
