PRESS RELEASE May 8, 2026 CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT IN CIRCULATION NOT OFFICIALLY RELEASED, BUT CONTENTS FURTHER AFFIRM ABDULRAHMAN AND ANYANWU’S LEADERSHIP OF THE PDP 1. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has become aware of the circulation of a purported Certified True Copy (CTC) of the recent Supreme Court judgment relating to matters concerning the party. 2. The PDP wishes to categorically state that the document currently in circulation was not officially released by the Supreme Court. A careful examination of the purported CTC reveals that it falls short of the established requirements for proper certification of official court documents. The pages were neither duly certified, stamped, nor signed by any authorized court officer in accordance with legally recognized procedures. 3.  TWO KILLED, SEVERAL INJURED IN AUTO CRASH IN KOGI COMMUNITY 


A tragic road accident has claimed the lives of two persons in Alome Ejule, located in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State, according to eyewitness accounts.


Residents said the crash occurred within the community and left several others injured.


Eyewitnesses identified one of the deceased as Shehu, said to be from Odu Okpakili Ogane in Ejule. The second victim, a woman, was reportedly from Agojeju Ejule.


Sources at the scene disclosed that multiple victims sustained varying degrees of injuries during the accident.

The injured were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.


Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
