The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has become aware of the circulation of a purported Certified True Copy (CTC) of the recent Supreme Court judgment relating to matters concerning the party. 2. The PDP wishes to categorically state that the document currently in circulation was not officially released by the Supreme Court. A careful examination of the purported CTC reveals that it falls short of the established requirements for proper certification of official court documents. The pages were neither duly certified, stamped, nor signed by any authorized court officer in accordance with legally recognized procedures. 3.  UK man arrested after car hits seven pedestrians in city center

 Police in Derby arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder after a car struck multiple pedestrians in the city center, sending seven people to hospitals.

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Friar Gate, a busy area known for nightlife in central Derby, a city of roughly 275,000 northeast of Birmingham. Authorities said the man was apprehended a short distance from the scene and remains in police custody.

Counterterrorism officers are assisting local police with the investigation, a standard procedure for incidents of this nature. Chief Superintendent Emma Aldred of Derbyshire Constabulary emphasized that the incident is not being treated as terrorism at this time, and investigators are keeping an open mind regarding the motive.
