Burt Reynolds told Sandy Duncan he 'wanted to kill' her at height of 'Barney' fame, she says Sandy Duncan, whose career spans seven decades with Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe nominations, is still remembered by many for her brief role in Barney & the Backyard Gang.  In 1988, during a Hollywood writers’ strike, Duncan accepted the part of “Mom” in the direct‑to‑video children’s series about a purple dinosaur.  Though she had already built a reputation in family entertainment with Peter Pan, Pinocchio, and voice work for Scooby‑Doo and The Fox and the Hound, she admitted later that she was surprised by the project’s simplicity and returned to her regular work after filming three episodes. The success of the videos led to PBS picking up Barney & Friends, and producers asked Duncan to reprise her role.  She recalled being pitched on the franchise’s future, including plush toys and merchandising, but declined the offer a decision she later regretted.  Despite...

UPDATE: JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE STRUGGLED WITH FIELD SOBRIETY TESTS DURING 2024 HAMPTONS DUI STOP. (PHOTO).

Justin Timberlake struggled with field sobriety tests during 2024 Hamptons DUI stop

Justin Timberlake struggled with field sobriety tests after a 2024 DUI stop in the Hamptons, video footage released Friday shows. During the roughly eight-hour video, the singer and actor is seen attempting to walk a straight line and stand on one leg while telling officers, “these are like really hard tests.”

Police pulled Timberlake over in Sag Harbor in June 2024 after he allegedly ran a stop sign and veered out of his lane. He told officers he had one martini and had been following friends home. At one point, when asked why he was in town, Timberlake said, “I’m on a world tour,” later adding, “World tour. I’m Justin Timberlake.”

During the field tests, Timberlake appeared flustered, apologizing to officers and saying his heart was racing. In the back of the patrol car, he asked, “Why are you arresting me?” At the station, he reacted to being held overnight with, “I’m going to be here all night? You guys are wild, man,” requesting the light stay on in his cell.

The release of the video came after Timberlake’s lawyers and the village agreed to disclose a redacted version, despite earlier attempts to block it, citing privacy concerns. The footage was edited to address public safety and personal privacy considerations.

Timberlake ultimately pleaded guilty to impaired driving in September 2024. As part of a plea deal, his original misdemeanor charge was reduced to a noncriminal traffic violation. He was fined $500, required to complete 25 hours of community service, had his license suspended for 90 days, and agreed to record a public safety announcement on the dangers of drunk driving.
