U.S PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP SAID TUESDAY THAT IRAN WANTED NEGOTIATIONS, BUT THE WINDOW HAD CLOSED. (PHOTO).

US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Iran wanted negotiations, but the window had closed. His remarks come as tensions surge in an escalating confrontation reshaping the West Asian region.

The United States, alongside Israel, has continued military operations against Tehran that began on February 28. The offensive has intensified geopolitical fault lines across the region.

The conflict has reportedly resulted in hundreds of deaths, including Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior political and military figures. The developments mark one of the most consequential escalations in recent regional history.

As diplomacy falters and military actions expand, the stakes continue to rise for global stability. Is the region heading toward a prolonged confrontation, or is there still space for de escalation?
