 Burt Reynolds told Sandy Duncan he 'wanted to kill' her at height of 'Barney' fame, she says Sandy Duncan, whose career spans seven decades with Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe nominations, is still remembered by many for her brief role in Barney & the Backyard Gang.  In 1988, during a Hollywood writers’ strike, Duncan accepted the part of “Mom” in the direct‑to‑video children’s series about a purple dinosaur.  Though she had already built a reputation in family entertainment with Peter Pan, Pinocchio, and voice work for Scooby‑Doo and The Fox and the Hound, she admitted later that she was surprised by the project’s simplicity and returned to her regular work after filming three episodes. Hudgens and Tucker, who married in 2023, are parents to two young children: a daughter born in July 2024 and a son welcomed in November 2025.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
