That’s Not Fair - Kim Kardashian Says Prisoners Who Fought L.A. Wildfires Were Paid 'Just a Few Dollars,' and She Wants to Change That A renewed push for prison labor reform is gaining attention, with Kim Kardashian stepping in to support new legislation aimed at changing how incarcerated workers are paid. The bill, reintroduced on March 19 by Cory Booker, seeks to ensure that people working while incarcerated receive at least the federal minimum wage. It also proposes limits on deductions for fees, fines, and living costs within correctional facilities, through amendments to the Fair Labor Standards Act. Kardashian, who has increasingly focused on criminal justice reform, explained that her support is rooted in what she witnessed during the Los Angeles wildfires.  “I personally watched incarcerated people who risked their lives battling the massive wildfires,” she said, pointing out that many were paid only a few dollars a day despite doing the same high-risk work as profess...

Whoopi Goldberg Says After 3 Divorces Her Sex Life Now Consists of ‘Hit-and-Runs' When She ‘Needs It’

For Whoopi Goldberg, independence is not something she explains, it is something she lives.

During the March 18 episode of The View, the EGOT winner spoke candidly while reacting to a discussion about relationships and the appeal of single life. The conversation was sparked by an essay about missing the freedom that comes with not being tied down.

Goldberg did not hesitate to share her own reality. “I am single,” she said, adding that she enjoys her freedom and does not feel the need for the structure that comes with a committed relationship.

Her remarks reflected a perspective she has expressed consistently over the years. In a previous interview, she explained that not everyone is suited to long-term relationships, noting that some people are more comfortable with less traditional arrangements.

“I don’t want to live with anybody,” she said plainly, stressing that while she has people she loves, she prefers to maintain her own space. For her, closeness does not have to mean sharing a home or daily routine.

Looking back, Goldberg has also spoken about her past marriages, saying that while there were good moments, the experience did not align with what she truly wanted.

She has been married three times, including to Alvin Martin, David Claessen, and Lyle Trachtenberg.

Even so, she maintains a level of respect for those relationships. She has said she remains on good terms with her former partners, describing them as people who were once important in her life.

Goldberg also made it clear that choosing independence does not mean distancing herself from family.

She spoke about being deeply invested in her daughter and extended family, as well as her close friendships.

For her, it comes down to balance, staying connected without taking on the kind of emotional commitment she feels a traditional relationship requires.

In her words, it is not about rejecting love, but defining it on her own terms.
