 Anambra HOS Visits Ministry of Women Affairs Again, Warns On Absenteeism, Insurbordination By Stella Anekwe The Anambra State Head of Service, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno Esq.,mni, on April 29, visited the Ministry of Women Affairs , 29 days after her first visit, warning workers of absenteeism and insurbordination. She frowned at the lack of respect and insubordination witnessed among the staff against the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, warning that if such is reported again, she would post out all the staff. She reminded the workers at the ministry of Women Affairs that the ministry is the gateway of the grassroots to the civil service hence, the workers should be puntual and service oriented always. She said that with the 216 lawyers in the Ministry of Justice that the civil service has enough lawyers for litigation against those flagrantly disobeying the civil service rules and code of service.  2027: Shehu Sani Obtains APC Senatorial Nomination Forms For Kaduna Central


Former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has secured the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest the Kaduna Central Senatorial District seat.


The development confirms his official entry into the race ahead of the 2027 elections, as political activities intensify within the ruling party. 


Sani, a former civil rights activist who previously served in the Senate, remains a notable figure in Nigeria’s political space.


The APC had earlier announced that the sale of nomination forms would run from April 25 to May 2, 2026, while submission of completed forms will close on May 4, 2026. 


Screening of aspirants is slated for May 6 to May 9 across various elective positions.


Primary elections are scheduled to commence on May 15, 2026, beginning with the House of Representatives, and will conclude with the presidential primaries on May 23, 2026.
