 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. Man killed, another injured in early morning double stabbing in Hell’s Kitchen, police say

  

 A man is dead, and another is injured following a double stabbing in Hell’s Kitchen early Thursday morning.

Authorities said officers responded just before 5 a.m. to an area outside a homeless shelter on Ninth Avenue near West 52nd Street. When they arrived, they found one man suffering from a chest wound and another with a stab wound to the stomach.

Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital. The man who was stabbed in the chest was later pronounced dead, while the second victim is reported to be in stable condition.

Police said the suspect fled the scene on a bicycle. The motive for the attack remains unclear.

The area was cordoned off with police tape as investigators worked at the scene through the morning.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
