 “No electricity, no vote,” South Africans threaten to shun ruling party ANC Residents in Katlehong, a township outside Johannesburg, have resolved to boycott South Africa's upcoming local elections on November 4 due to long-standing failures by authorities to provide basic services like electricity. For over 20 years, around 180 households in the community have relied on illegal electrical connections pulled from neighboring areas to power their homes. Angry over the lack of formal grid infrastructure, residents are directing their frustration at the ruling African National Congress (ANC).  Quinton Aaron learned wife was married to someone else after coma


Actor Quinton Aaron, best known for The Blind Side, recently revealed a shocking discovery about his marriage after waking from a four‑day coma. 


The 68‑year‑old suffered a spinal stroke in January and was placed on life support. During his hospitalization, it was uncovered that his wife, Margarita DeLeon, was still legally married to another man, Eric Guzman, whom she wed in 1992.


Aaron explained on Good Morning America that he and DeLeon married in December 2024, believing she had been divorced for more than a decade. 


He recalled that she assured him and even their officiant that she had the necessary documents, though he admitted he never saw the decree himself. 


Reflecting on the situation, Aaron described this as his “biggest mistake,” saying he wished he had done more research before their wedding.


DeLeon, meanwhile, told the program that she was unaware her divorce from Guzman had never been finalized, something Guzman also believed to be true. 


She said she came clean to Aaron while he was still in the hospital, acknowledging the information his family had uncovered. 


Despite the painful revelation, she emphasized her honesty and insisted she had not known about the legal oversight until recently.
