 GOVERNMENT OF RIVERS STATE   PRESS STATEMENT  MY DECISION TO WITHDRAW FROM THE RIVERS  STATE  GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARIES  Fellow Rivers People, After deep reflection and extensive consultations with my family, friends, and associates, I have taken the difficult but necessary decision to withdraw from the APC gubernatorial primaries. I do so with a full heart and with a firm commitment to support whoever emerges as the candidate of our great party. Leadership is ultimately about sacrifice. There comes a time when personal ambition must yield to the greater good of the people. Rivers State is bigger than any individual, and at this critical moment, the peace, stability, and unity of our dear state must take precedence over every personal interest. Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have set social media buzzing after the NFL star was spotted at her sold-out concert in Washington, DC.


The surprise appearance immediately sparked fresh talk that the former couple may be finding their way back to each other.


Stefon was seen enjoying the show at Capital One Arena alongside his younger brother, Trevon Diggs, and their mother, Stephanie Diggs.


Videos shared online captured the group dancing and fully embracing the energy of the night as Cardi performed some of her fan-favourite tracks.


In one clip, the athlete could be seen moving along with his family while Cardi delivered her verse on Blueface’s Thotiana Remix.


Another video later showed them continuing to enjoy the performance from a lower level inside the packed venue.


The conversation around a possible reunion only intensified after the concert.


Following the show, Stefon reportedly attended Cardi’s afterparty at Throw Social.


As the night came to an end, Cardi was later seen approaching his vehicle outside the venue, where the pair appeared to share a brief conversation before leaving separately.


That moment quickly set off reactions online, with many fans openly wondering whether the two are working things out.


Some supporters expressed happiness at the possibility, saying they would love to see them give the relationship another chance.


Others suggested the pair may simply be on good terms despite their previous breakup.


Cardi, 33, and Stefon, 32, reportedly ended their relationship shortly before Super Bowl 2026 in February.
