 Senator Sunday Karimi has raised concerns over the growing incidence of kidnapping and banditry in Kogi State, describing abductions as a daily occurrence in the state. Karimi made the remarks on Wednesday during plenary while contributing to a motion of urgent public importance sponsored by Senator Abdulfatai Buhari on the recent abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Ogbomoso. The lawmaker said kidnapping and banditry have become major security challenges threatening the stability of the country, stressing that responsibility for addressing the menace should not rest solely on the Federal Government. According to him, bandits invaded Ayedun Bunu, a community in Kogi West Senatorial District, in the early hours of Monday and abducted 28 residents.  Cause of Death Revealed for Former Home Alone House Owner After His Body Was Found in Nature Reserve


Authorities have confirmed the cause of d@th of John Abendshien, a former owner of the famous house featured in Home Alone.


The 79-year-old was found on the evening of April 22 at a nature preserve near Lake Forest, Illinois. Local officials say a preliminary autopsy determined he d!ed from asphyxia in a manner described as self-inflicted.


According to the coroner’s office, the incident is being treated as isolated, with no danger posed to the public. However, police in Lake Forest Police Department are still reviewing the circumstances surrounding the case.


Abendshien was known for previously owning the well-known property in Winnetka, Illinois that gained global attention after being featured in the holiday classic. 


He even documented his experience of living in the home during the film’s production years ago.


His passing comes shortly after legal troubles. Days before he was found, authorities had carried out a search at his residence following multiple cyber tips linked to alleged possession of illegal materials involving minors. 


Investigators reported that electronic devices were seized during that operation.


He was later charged with several felony counts related to those allegations and released on bail under specific conditions on April 17, less than a week before his body was discovered.
