Somali World Cup Referee Denied Entry to United States Award-winning Somali referee, Omar Artan, has been denied entry into the United States despite holding a valid visa, according to a senior official in Somalia’s sports ministry. Artan, who is set to become the first Somali referee to officiate at the FIFA World Cup finals, was stopped at Miami International Airport and subsequently returned to Istanbul, where he had been residing. The reason for the denial was not immediately disclosed. However, Somalia is among the countries affected by a travel ban introduced by the administration of Donald Trump. Reacting to the development, Ciise Aden Abshir, a senior adviser to Somalia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports and a former national team captain, described Artan as one of Africa’s most respected referees. “Omar Artan is among Africa’s most respected referees and deserves the support of the entire football community,” Abshir told AFP on Monday. CRYSTAL KUNG MINKOFF REVEALS NEAR STROKE SCARE AFTER BLOOD PRESSURE SPIKE AND HOSPITAL WARNING”.(PHOTO).

Crystal Kung Minkoff reveals near stroke scare after blood pressure spike and hospital warning”

Crystal Kung Minkoff has shared a worrying update about her health, revealing she recently experienced a scare involving dangerously high blood pressure.

On the April 27 episode of her podcast Humble Brag With Crystal and Cynthia, the 43-year-old former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member explained she was delayed arriving at the recording after an urgent doctor’s appointment.

She said her blood pressure had spiked to 160/110 mmHg, a level doctors consider significantly above the healthy range. Reflecting on the situation, she said she immediately feared the seriousness of what it could mean.

“I was like, ‘OK, so we’re in the realm of stroke now,’” she shared, adding that she was told the condition can often develop quietly without obvious warning signs.

Minkoff explained that she had been feeling unusual pressure in her chest, which led her to seek medical attention. After tests, her doctor told her her heart rate was unusually low and that her heart was working under strain.

Following further examination, including an EKG, she said doctors also noted that her heart appeared slightly enlarged. Her medication was adjusted as a result.

According to her, her doctor explained that most of the risk factors were genetic, but lifestyle adjustments still play a major role in managing her condition.

He also raised concerns about her fitness routine, encouraging her to be more consistent with exercise and to incorporate strength training, especially as women naturally lose muscle mass with age.

“He said, ‘You’re 43. Hiking is not enough for you to make your heart work,’” she recalled, adding that he encouraged her to aim for structured cardio several times a week.

She said the conversation shifted her perspective on exercise, with her doctor stressing that building discipline now could help prevent bigger health issues later in life.

“I only say this because I’m 43,” she said, explaining that she was warned about potential long-term consequences if changes are delayed.

This is not the first time she has faced a similar scare. During a previous filming trip for RHOBH in Barcelona, she was hospitalized after experiencing dizziness, nausea, and extremely high blood pressure, which led to concerns about stroke-like symptoms.

At the time, paramedics recorded a reading of 177/108 before she was taken for further treatment. She later described the experience as frightening and overwhelming.
